Elevation of the track is quite level starting in Clanwilliam at 2041 ft. with a rise to 2155 ft. and sloping back down to 2058 ft. at Erickson. When travelling on along a railbed you will find the grade is gradual and ideal for cycling/walking. This however does not deter from the interest and beauty of the trail. In actual fact it can add to the ease of taking in the sites without having to worry about the difficulty of the terrain. |
