most up-to-date maps available — for the life of your Garmin
GPS. This one-time, single purchase gives you access to the newest
map information on streets, highways and points of interest as
soon as new content is available. Then, you can download the new
data to your device, retrieving up to four updates per year, for
the lifetime of your Garmin GPS.

update plan you can buy. nüMaps Lifetime
updates are available for the City Navigator® NT
street maps on your compatible Garmin device. (nüvi
series, zumo series
and certain StreetPilots)
To use nüMaps Lifetime, all you need is your
Garmin device, your computer, an internet connection (Dial-up
not recommended) and a USB cable. There are no monthly fees or
continuing maintenance costs; you pay only once.
When you want
to update your
maps, connect your device to your computer and log into your myGarmin
account, where the latest map data is ready to load to your device.

Onetime - DVD update (now includes Mexico)
To update your maps just
put the DVD into your computer's DVD-ROM and follow the onscreen instructions. An internet connection (preferrably high speed) is required as the installation process needs to communicate with Garmin.com to get the newest maps available.
Note: nüvi
200, 200w, 205, 205w users will receive complete North American
maps with the onetime and lifetime updates. Certain older models may not have enough memory to load all of North America. In these cases you have to choose a region to load. However, a different region may be loaded again at a later time at no extra cost. Click here to see the regions.
