FAQ's

Does this cable charge or power my GPS and my PDA?
When the auto charger is connected to the Data cable it will provide power to the GPS (bypass the batteries), and simultaneously charge and power the PDA. It will not charge the batteries on the GPS

How Does the cable power both PDA and GPS when the power requirements are different?
There are electronics built into the cable that regulates the power. There is also a built in fuse to protect both PDA and GPS from damage

Do I need Software?
No software or drivers are required. This cable works with the mapping software already loaded on the PDA.

Tips
Make sure you have disabled any programs that may be accessing the serial port (ie External Keyboard)

On a Pocket PC go to Start/Settings/System/Memory/Running Programs and click on stop all. If ActiveSync was among those you may want to go to Start/ActiveSync/Tools/Options and uncheck the first box.
