For better GPS reception in vehicle interiors, this new and improved remote antenna is the answer. Built-in, magnetic mount for the outside of your vehicle. Prairie Geomatics recommends that you run the antenna cable through the battery cover D-ring on the back of your GPS unit. This will stop the jack from swivelling which would eventually cause wear on the internal gold contacts. Click here to see a picture of this technique.
